Description

The Snow Guards is easy to install and prevents damage caused by sliding of snow and ice making this a simple, cost effective measure of protecting your investment.

General Use

It is recommended Snow Guards be installed onto a thru-fastened panel system. The length of screws needed for install will vary based on the purlins or the depth of the substrate. It is recommended to consult with an engineer or architect. Care and caution should be taken to ensure that the snow guard is properly tightened and sealed. Screws should be facing the eave of the roof and the guards should be installed starting on the first purlin every 18” with a row behind staggered 9” between the first row. Measure halfway up the roof and continue this pattern again. (See diagram)

Failure to install an adequate amount of snow guards or snow guards not installed properly will void the warranty. It is the installers’ responsibility to check local building codes to make certain that proper snow load is being met.
